I had the pleasure of being David's student way back in 1990 - and have remained in contact since. David is scholarly, smart, humorous, and very accessible. He will push and motivate by questioning, sketching and providing examples. David is passionate about the world of ideas, hard work, and good questions. He is curious and uses humor to edify.

Dr. Wang is very approachable, but you are most likely to listen to his lectures and then work with your TA's more regarding your assignments. His lectures can be interesting, but they seem to be very long and hard to pay attention to if you're not interested in architecture. Tests are easy if you study, sketchnotes graded hard.

Dr. Wang is good but tends to ramble. If we are about to end early, he makes sure it goes on for another 10-20 minutes just by chatting with the other professors and TA's. Sketchnotes are graded harshly but tests aren't too bad if you study. Decently interesting. He's caring and approachable and tries to make it interesting and inspiring

Dr. Wang is an awesome teacher. He's funny and incredibly intelligent. When he speaks, you can learn something, no matter what it is he's lecturing on. I'd encourage anyone to have a conversation with this man.
