Comment:

I had a rough semester so I ended up dropping his class :( I really did enjoy my time in his class though. He gets so pumped about the material, he has the best dad jokes. He's basically Ferris Bueller as a teacher and its great! You do have to show up and prepare though. Participation is key in his class, and he assigns a lot of homework.

Comment:

Defiantly an interesting class. Professor White has a lot of cool stories about history because he has traveled literally everywhere so it helps with learning the criteria. The online homework assignments sometimes didn't make sense but they were still relatively easy. There's two big exams but they're also easy. Pay close attention in lectures.

Mr. White is the best, absolutely loved his class! His lectures are interesting and he's always looking for ways to engage you; outdoor games with fake weapons, Viking coloring books to keep you entertained during lectures, class debates about whether to assassinate Caesar. He really obviously wants you to enjoy it and succeed and works to help you

Comment:

White is a great teacher to take for online classes. His material was clearly laid out. A quiz, homework questions, and a critical review on the chapter each week and it was easy to work ahead on assignments for weeks in advance if you had the time to! I have recommended this class to many people. Great course!!!

Comment:

Very caring and understanding. Makes the lectures interesting and interactive; sometimes you get to go outside and pretend to battle each other or just sit outside and listen to his lecture in nice weather. There is a lot of reading, so be ready for that. However all of the assignments matter and aren't just busy work. Would take him again.

Guys, Professor White is amazing! He's sarcastic and funny. He gives great feedback. I took his online history class and there was no tests, only weekly quizzes. There was also a 10-15 page paper that I had to write. It sounds intimidating, but as long as you pick a topic you love, it'll be a breeze. I'm going to miss Professor White's class!

Great teacher, the only reason why I didn't fall asleep in class was because his lectures were great. He is clearly very enthusiastic and is generous to the people who show up to class. As long as you read the material and do the homework and show up most of the time, you'll be fine.

Mr. White was a great teacher. He was very laid-back in his online class. The discussions were completely student-run. Although there were no tests, there was quite a bit of homework due each week. The one complaint I had was the 10-14 page research paper. I felt like it was a bit too long. Of course, maybe I just didn't pick an easy topic!

Comment:

White's online history class was very informative. However, it had a lot of work associated with it. It was all self paced. If you have any doubt whatsoever that you will slack off, do not take this course. If you have procrastination issues, do not take this course. Otherwise, it's a very informative course with a very good instructor.

I took his US His1 (self-paced) it was easy, just have to make sure you stay on top of getting the assignments because the only due date is the last day of class, very easy though. I also took West Civ. 1 from him and again fairly easy you have to participate in discussions and take quizzes all easy, one longish paper to write but not graded tough.

Incredible teacher, you can tell he loves teaching history. I've had him in person and online and the assignments are always creative and fun. If you like a schedule, his classes will be good for you, there's always a open book quiz online and a few assignments a week. He is a very nice and helpful teacher, that actually cares.

Took this class online over the summer. Its such an easy class and its perfect for the summer. Super super easy grader, all the quiz answers are online have to copy and paste and they are all there. No final only a 10 page research paper! He responds to questions and mistakes fast!

FAVORITE TEACHER. Extremely helpful, clear, and interesting. Tests (2) are simple. They are open book, note, laptop, and outline. Lectures are super interesting. He takes you outside for a few of them when it's really nice out. He is understanding, and lets you turn things in late without deducting points. Very nice. Very EASY A.
