Professor Wilder was fantastic for Social Psych. He's so animated and funny, and he's really passionate about his field. The lecture material was awesome too, I took this class on a whim as an elective and found myself loving it. Take notes and listen, some of his slides in class arent in the powerpoints he puts online. I'd take him again for sure.

DO NOT take this class with him. His tests are extremely unfair its like he doesn't want his students to succeed. his tests trick you with answers like A, B, C, B and C only, all of the above, or none of the above. this class will wreck your GPA. stay clear.

I liked this guy and enjoyed his lectures. He's lively, friendly, and open to questions. He moves along at a good pace and provides examples from studies to illustrate concepts. His tests are just a tad challenging, but entirely fair, and they don't demand that you remember things needlessly like names of researchers. There's also a curve.

Terrible professor exams are extremely unfair. You can study all you want, but there's questions that are meant to trip you up. Get used to multiple choice questions like A, B, A and B all of the above or none of the above.

He's a fun guy. Exams aren't too hard, either you know it or you don't. Some questions are based off of information not available on the Sakai slides, so you should go to class. 4 multiple choice exams make up most of your grade. He's enthusiastic about the material and wants his students to succeed. Put in the least bit of effort and you're fine.

Most of the information on the exams are given in class during the lectures. He does omit a bit of the lecture slides when he posts them online, so make sure you really attend class and pay attention! He also has questions on information from the textbook, so it's also important to read. Overall, great class, super fun guy, and not overly difficult

Prof. Wilder is a good teacher. He gives 4 exams, 1 really short paper, and 2 class surveys for extra credit. For exams you really have to study and at least look over the textbook. He's questions are tricky.

obviously loves the subject and is enthusiastic about it. doesn't take attendance BUT his powerpoints on sakai are missing a lot + to get them you need to come to class. exams are harder than the lectures + take material from the book. he curved fairly well since a lot of people failed exams. you need to read, come to class, and study to do well.

He is eccentric, and enthusiastic during lectures. You need to go to class and supplement with the textbook. The exams cover more than just his lectures. Lectures can be boring sometimes. You can find the textbook online. Would not take the class with him. Take with Killianksi, and save yourself the trouble.

Professor Wilder is really funny. His jokes are lame but he really makes the class more interesting in his lectures with them. I enjoyed listening to him during lectures. But his tests are pretty tricky. I thought I'd do better because I understood the content but the questions are tough. Other than that, he doesn't give any other work.

You definitely need to attend lecture to do well in class, however, his lecture was always pretty interesting and kept me awake. Some say that his tests are tough, but as you get used to the multiple choice format, you'll improve. I went to class, took notes, skimmed the textbook, and made outlines for the study material. There was also a curve.

There are extra credit opportunities given. Go to class because the PowerPoint he puts online isn't similar to the one he uses in class. The ones online lack some info. Decent curve.

He is really funny & made me laugh every class, but his exams are impossible. I studied everyday for 2 weeks, & still couldn't navigate his exams. Multiple choice are made to make you second guess yourself (Options are like: A, B, C, More than one is incorrect, More than one is correct) I feel like I learned a lot, but my exams wouldn't show that.

He is a nice guy but his tests are really hard. I am normally an A student and I am struggling to get a B. I've never missed a class and he puts parts of the PowerPoints on sakai. 3 multiple choice exams of 70 questions and the last is 70 + 20 cumulative. He gives 3 (20 point) stupid assignments that you can do sleeping. He does curve!

Professor Wilder is hilarious. He's a great professor and I would definitely recommend taking this course. It's not hard as long as you go to class at least once a week, or get someone to do the powerpoint notes for you. He is good at keeping your attention and he's not a buttface with tests, he keeps em pretty straightforward and real.

I went to class everyday and took notes while following along with the slides. I would study ahead for the exams but regardless of how well I knew the material his exams were very tricky. The answers would be something along the lines of a. x b. y c. z d. b&c e. not a or c If it weren't for the test format I'm sure I could have done better.

The exams are way harder than they need to be and everyone will agree with me. What kind of question follows answer choices such as answer "A" ,"B ","C" ,"D;Both A and B are correct", or "E; more than two of these answers are incorrect. " I put in a lot of effort and can explain every concept, but these answers are so ambiguous i fee like its SATs

One of the best professors I've had. He makes class very interesting and is really passionate about the subject. He always answers any questions you have an is more than willing to help you. Tests are really hard, but he gives sample questions and reading the book will easily get you a B.

The class itself is not hard. Very straightforward material. However, the professor makes the class more challenging than it should be. Exams are also quite difficult. On a more positive note, like most classes, the exams seem to get easier as you begin to know what to expect. Most students receive C's in the course.
