Once he came to class in a tight pink t shirt. he looked pretty jacked. Too bad his lectures consist of him staring at a slide using a laser to guide his own attention while he mumbles to himself. I dont know if he realizes some things he says are hilarious. Like when he outlined the first midterm; "...Nernst equation, and my favorite topic- rust."

He alternates between mumbling into the board and screaming into the three microphones on the podium. Never really covers basic concepts, just jumps into complex theories. However, you can still ace all the exams by memorizing old ones.. .seriously.

Extremely boring lecturer, but a pretty funny guy otherwise. I found it extremely difficult to drag myself out of bed to go to class knowing he'd just lull me back to sleep in five minutes. His tests are easy if you review the old ones (lot of repeats).

Yarkony is hard to understand and overall he is impossible. The class is a waste with Yarkony, the test are very difficult and the overall course content is not reflected int he exams. Yarkony's over emphasis on theory strains common understanding.

If you ask him for help, he's amazing. Office hours are sooo helpful, and if you show up for more than just before the test and he sees that you want to understand, get ready to be super-prepared and actually understand the subject. Very genuine.
