Really awesome professor!! I always found her lectures to be very informative and interesting. She does have high expectations for students because she wants you to actually learn the material. Very caring and honest human being.

Dr. Anderson is very tough and has high expectations. This is not a bad thing. She teaches difficult subjects and she expects great things from her students. She carries herself in a way which may come off as her being unkind, but when you get to know her, she is great. She is not the best at first impressions, but she grew on me over time.

This is my first time rating a professor here. She's not the most demanding professor I've had. I love being challenged and pushed to be better. It's how she behaves that I really despise. She's a hypocrite (acts nice but isn't really) and doesn't create a welcoming environment. She's moody and barely cares for anyone.

Tests were difficult, need to study a lot. Is helpful if you see her in her office. She will give you advice and tips to studying better. Is very nice and understanding, but hard to contact.

Expects tons from students but does not give the same amount of respect. If you ask a question in her office she will start yelling at you. Is known for being insanely inflexible and being disorganized. The problem is not the difficulty its the environment she makes which leads you to resent people who have more time to give her class.

She is an extremely intelligent professor, but her tests are very hard (thank goodness she curves the grades) She does expect you to learn but she makes it applicable which always helps make things more interesting. She wasn't readily available, because of the presidential search she was involved in. A very good professor; you'll learn a lot

A fantastic professor! She has never been anything but extremely nice to me. If you treat her with respect, she will do the same to you. Her lectures are content-heavy, but you'll be fine as long as you take good notes. Provides students with many opportunities (and she's very nice to her TAs!)

Hardest teacher I've had. Best teacher I've had. Excellent communicator, but you just need to attend class and take notes and study. You're in college. Quit whining about how hard professors are and buckle down and study. If you want a useless degree without anything learned, stay away. If you want to learn, take her courses.

I'm very surprised at any good ratings for Dr. Anderson. She is very rude to her students, never gives grades back on time, creates an environment of fear in the classroom (no one is comfortable asking questions) and in her department. She's inflexible, dictatorial, disrespectful, strict, has dubious grading methods, doesn't care about students.

Evil. Moodiest person I have ever met. Screams at students and TAs. Waits until the week before finals to pass back the only three grades (exams of course) you have received all semester. Only teaches microcosms of the material she should cover. Tests at a graduate school level but teaches at a Kindergarten level. Lies to students and faculty.

I was enrolled in 3 classes taught by Dr. Anderson. She is far and away the best professor I've ever had at Berea College. She is enthusiastic, outgoing, and wants only for students to understand the material and learn. If you're looking for an easy course, stay away. But if you're wanting to learn molecular biology, she's should be your choice

I had heard rumors about her not being nice, but when I took her class, she was nothing but nice!She is extremely smart and knowledgeable, and I enjoyed this class very much!Even though it was a hard class, she made it very interesting, and she and her TA's were always ready to help the students out!I recommend her and this class. She's great!!!

I want to defend for her. She's tough of course, and moody as semester goes of course. But she does help students. She's in her officer all the time, if you want to talk to her, just make an appointment. She seems rude in the lab sometime, but she's just want to make sure the lab is organized and will forget want you did wrong right after.
