Actually I should say her "non" advising skills.She is useless.Every time I go to her office she sends me away and I find my self running around trying to figure out what classes I should take on my own. Overall, between her personal judgments/attacks, lack of professionalism, condescending attitude, and refusal to admit her (many) mistakes, I can safely say that she is one of the most horrible people I have ever had to deal with on both a professional and personal level. It's disgusting that she holds so many peoples futures in her hands.

As far as her abilities as an advisor, I would recommend you take care of it on your own. She failed to tell me about a class I had to take, then accused me of lying when I reminded her she hadn't told me. Now I will graduate a semester late. Again, I know of several other girls she has done the same thing to.

This woman embodies all that is wrong with tenure. Her personal feelings about you WILL affect how she grades. She has made insulting comments about my appearance/lifestyle/intelligence , as well as several other dance majors. She belittles students who have trouble understanding her content, which is inconsistent at best.

Hands down the worst teacher/adviser I have ever had. She likes to belittle you, and cares nothing for her students who are trying to graduate. My best advice for all of you who will have her as a teacher/adviser, get the apple book and read it cover to cover. She once made this comment to me.."Everything you need to know to graduate is in your app

probably the most hurtful, mean, and incomprehensible person to ever live on this planet. not just to me, but I have talked to other dancers and they say the same. I guess she likes to make herself feel better about herself by putting others down and pointing out how "fat" you are or "you need to switch your career." Worst person/teacher ever!

She is one that once you figure her out her class is easy. There is alot of work so you have to be dedicated. She is helpful to you once you show her that you are dedicated. If you are rude and disrespectful then of course she will give you the cold shoulder. Which is the case for most people who bad mouth her.
