Worst in the Business Division at Pepp. He is the Dean of the Business Division, which is the worst thing possible for students. Good luck having Pepp be reputable to employers w/ him as the face of your major. No wonder BA students at Pepp can't get jobs. Can't run a division, can't teach. It is like they gave him Dean only because his name.

A horrible teacher. He was funny in class, but his tests were ridiculous- not near what we learned in class. Micro econ is my life and what got me into Pepperdine, but after this class, I do not want pursue this passion.

Tells some good jokes. Nice guy. Uses simple, obscure examples for econ points. Too simple, though, cuz you don't learn anything new. And what is tested is way harder than class lectures, not even the same. His upper and lower division courses are the same.

Made me want to be an econ major. Very clear, almost overly clear. If you study his tests are easy, but without studying you will be lost. Also a wonderful man outside of class. Great sense of humor made me laugh every day

This teacher is strange. He makes dumb jokes every single day and gets offended when people don't laugh at him. Regardless, he is a great teacher. He is incredibly knowledgable and will stand up there and just ramble off his lectures with no notes at all. He also grades his tests very quickly! If you work hard in his class, an "A" is attainable.

I had some high hopes for this class. He seems like a nice guy and can be pretty funny at times, but that is all he has to offer. Learned nothing in this class and was absolutely worthless. I dropped out of the business major solely because of him. By far, the worst professor I have ever had. I regret ever taking this class.

great teacher. class is tough and demanding and requires lot of time commitement especially with aplia but is definitely worth it. you learn the material better than any other class, i worked my ass off but got an A in the end, with only 20 min studyin b4 final. he curves against classmates so its GOOD! TAKE HIM!

Intro to microeconomics my first semester & first year in college. I get decent grades (Bs mostly), and not only was I confused more after going to class, but what was taught had barely any relation to the homework that was assigned(Aplia).The tests were completely impossible because they didn't relate to what was taught in class nor the homework.

I actually really enjoyed taking Baim: I had him for Microecon (BA210) and Managerial Econ (BA 445) and got A's in both. I showed up late every class (by at least 15 minutes) for Microecon and was usually late for Managerial Econ as well. Exams can be challenging,; if you go to class and take thorough notes, you'll do fine.

Dean Baim is the worst teacher I ever had. He wastes time in class which is mandatory. He makes homework due before teaching it and sometimes weeks before its covered in class. Tests are incredibly difficult, especially because he words them in a confusing way and won't explain to you if you ask him in class.All he does is complain about his salary

What can one say about Baim? The class is boring as hell, tests are impossible, to get on his good side throw his insults back at him (he is a sadist & masochist). This is an actual quote from his email "...if your answer to the question is as long as this e-mail it will be too long. I have bad reading habits and fell asleep half way through."
