Loves anyone who is a complete novice..wants to be your "mentor"..if you work or worked in radio, you cannot get an A in her class, no matter what you do. Like the earlier poster said, she feels threatened by anyone with actual knowlege.

Deb is an absolutely great professor, and without a doubt one of the greatest things I miss about Illinois State since I stopped attending. Other than agreeing she is moody at times, and that you must go outta the way to meet her schedule(especially as hers isn't friendly for late night people), but she'll really bat for ya if get on her good side!
