Professor Debbie Blanchard is an awesome teacher I took her for health102 this semester fall2016. I actually enjoyed her class and learning about health she real it easy on you to put in the work. Throughout the class we only had 2 papers , in which I probably would of have to did if I did not miss any day or wasn't tardy. class you can pass .

If you like group projects, this is the class for you. She takes forever to grade papers. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to cultures. Very fun, she favors the students who participate. attendance isn't mandatory but if you don't want to take the mid term or final exam, then don't miss a day.

She is very opinionated and hope you have a great group because she grades off of groups. Don't miss class because she will hand surprise quizzes and suck up if you have to she has a big ego. If you don't miss a day the first eight weeks you don't have to take the midterm and won't have to take final if you miss one or two days.

Papers are SO short guys. its honestly so easy to pass, if you're any inspiring nutritionalist or something look for another teacher, but if you're just getting your P.E credit done, its honestly SO easy. recommend you have some english classes under your belt though. BTW, she does take FOREVER to grade papers (like a month+) but there's only 3 so.

Here's the thing about the class, you buy this expensive book and you don't even need to use it! Not to mention the times I wrote a paper for her and she didn't grade it! I used the site she wanted us to use and she didn't even care? It takes a long time to get ahold of her and she will not help you AT ALL! I recommend you do NOT take this class!

Friendly teacher, willing to help if there is something you're not getting right. I recommend you pay attention, don't talk while she is talking, and leave your cell phone in your bag. Only time she was anything but very pleasant is when someone did not do one of those three things. :) Easy and fun class.

I don't know really what to say. This class was so frustrating because you have to play a dumb game that doesn't help at all with quiz and takes the whole class to do. The games often lead to people screaming at each other... The quizzes are super easy though. She is nice but she says rude things like shut up. She is very knowledgeable though...

Just took this class this summer and she was sick for about half the class but it was still pretty simple. She is straight forward from day one. 2 discussion post, test and study guide flash cards for each chapter, and one 5 paragraph paper. Not very difficult to get a good grade if you do the work. Would take her again, hopefully not sick.

Worst instructor ever. She grades your papers and gives low grades with no valid reason to learn from mistakes. She was sick with the shingles for several weeks and failed to respond to several e-mails. Horrible communication skills and very rude at times. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS.

I had her for hlth this past semester and thought she was an excellent teacher(given u read ur book)I wasnt the most enthusiastic person in her class but she was kind & helpful. one thing I can say is she does have a strong personality& does not tolerate disrespect

No make-ups. Understandable in most circumstances. After being involved in a motorcycle wreck, teacher showed no compassion, and even suggested to a counselor I provide proof I was in a wreck. Even after that, I was not allowed to make up ONE assignment. Dropped my grade a solid 10%, leaving me with a B. Expect no support from teacher.

I was very unhappy with this class. Ms. Blanchard's personality comes off in a very rude manner. I disliked how elementary her class seemed and how focused it was on a game that we played in class. Especially considering the fact that this game generally had little or no relevance to the subject material.

Unless you are prepared to be a typical teacher pet i do not recommend this professor. She is very very rude and will make you feel inferior. The one nice thing is if you have no absences and 2 or less tardies you do not have to take the midterm or final. This class is easy to pass but in all honesty i was miserable walking into that class everyday
