take this class if you actually want to understand what the hell your being taught in calc. great teacher horrible social etiquette, like many'o teachers, shes there to teach you not make friends(shes bearable and definitely will prepare you for calc2). ps - study hard, dont come late, calc's the easy stuff that 4th grade math is what kills you ;)

She is a wonderful teacher if you are there to learn. She goes above and beyond what other teachers would lecture on, and you leave with a greater understanding. I just wish I had taken more of her classes before this.

Terrible teacher. She's very arrogant, and thinks she is above Americans. Math skills run through my family, and until this class, I've never stressed over math. Homework isnt graded (so its not rewarding), Tests always have question not explained in class. When asked to explain a problem, she will tell you to go home and figure it out. Dont do it.

She's very smart and clear, but don't take this class if Math is n't your forte. She will go over whatever you'd like, especially outside of class, but the problems you are given on tests are more complex than the ones you are given on homework and in class. Spend lots of time on this class if you want to take her.

Extremely smart teacher. She is only nice wit you if you are smart. If you are not and dont get the concepts right away you wont be successful. Not an easy A, but if you pay attention and dedicate time to it, you'll do fine. She may come off mean, but she's really nice. She goes over homework in class, and you can talk with her during her office hours.Don't be intimidated, ask questions and she'll explain it to you. This professor is extremly hard. She expects you to put in many hours out of class to understand the material. She doesn't review questions unless you speak up and ask. It's her way or the highway. I'm just starting her class and I am very intimidated! She does give pop quizzes. Not for someone that's bad in math!

She still has a thick korean accent so sometimes its hard to understand her. she doesnt always get her examples from the book and things that i learned in high school she told me they werent right. She is a nice lady but gets annoyed pretty easily when you dont understand something right away. She goes over homework in class.

Very difficult to follow-she talks very quickly with her back to you, standing in the way of what she writes. She skips steps on the board but counts off if you do the same thing. Acts like pre calc is below her and wont explain things because she thinks theyre "elementary". Tutors couldnt help because she uses different methods. Would NOT recommen

Honor Students only! Great Mind, Arrogant,teaches off her own personal notes, only used $140 text for homework problems, didn't use at all last 1/2 of term. Impatient, seems bothered during office hours. Not warm & fuzzy at all. Asks you to hang in there, only to make you grovel for mercy at end. Even Tutors get stumped with her homemade problems.
