Professor Schaum is the best! She's hilarious but really knows her material. She's always available in her office for help. You do a lot of canvas quizzes the whole semester that help with your grade and studying for her tests. She also gives extra credit based on your attendance to your final grade, so if you're boarder line it really helps

was able to get an A with relatively no problem. Show up to class, do well on quizzes (which aren't often), and the 2 tests and you're set. She's not the best at giving directions on how to complete some of the bigger projects but she's always in her office for help. GO TO HER OFFICE IF YOU NEED HELP, SHE WILL HELP YOU AND SHE WILL LOVE YOU FOR IT!

DEATH BY POWER POINT!!! lectures are pretty boring labs are good help for the tests and like it was mentioned before if you study the "student outcome" that will help you a lot as well for the tests

She never seems too sure about what she's teaching. if you ask her a question, she mixes things up and it just gets confusing. tests are hard. 40 question labs each week, they're time consuming. I wouldn't recommend her.

Nice? Yeah if you're an average submissive student who doesn't ask too many questions. To be honest, I could teach the class just as well: all she does is read standardized powerpoint slides, and in monotone. She's consistent when it comes to being 10 minutes late every class, and taking another 10 to start the lesson. All in all, not recommended.

If you actually like weather like I do, than don't take this class... you WILL be let down. Always has a negative attitude, never provides clear answers, quite rude, unable to teach. Lectures were useless, just ended up teaching myself everything. I know the wx department has much better professors. I'd recommend taking one of them if possible.

Makes too many excuses to why our work is never graded. Doesn't like to provide help. When asked to offer more aids to prepare for tests (that don't relate to offered study guide) her excuse is "we're college students. We don't need it." Lazy. Lacks preparedness often. Rude. And when she is in a bad mood, she will talk down on the class.

Do not correct her, you will regret it. Just remember that she knows everything. Asking for help is a sign of weakness in her eyes and you'll be lucky to even get a grunt of recognition out of her. Enjoy the show...I mean class...

She is not a teacher, nonetheless a professor. She knows her stuff, but can't teach it. Basically just reads off the slides. Test are ok, some questions don't make sense. Labs are easy, at least i think they are but i wouldnt know because she hasnt graded any yet. i wish i knew my grade. I wouldnt take her ever again. Doesn't help students.
