Really a great professor. For an intensive writing class, she was very clear about what you should be doing in the class to be succesful, and also made the class enjoyable. Although the topic took some coming around on, it was a good class overall and you can tell she cares about her students.

Awful Prof. She's not mean, just beyond ridiculous when it comes to papers and exams.

Try-hard in every sense of the word. Does not update Canvas and has incredibly complicated assignment rubrics that have the capacity to change on her whim. Does not input grades at all. Has a very odd tendency of giving a grade/ another grade. For example A-/B+. Only take a class with her if you are incredibly interested in the content.

I personally loved her. Her lectures were interesting and engaging, she encouraged questions and loved to hear what the students thought. The AIs did the grading and they knew their stuff. She was very accommodating for personal problems as long as you put in effort for the class. Hard tests but got an A overall because of the extra credit.

Deliyannis is not only a great and knowledgable professor but also a great person. She loves her work and she is always available and understanding when it comes to questions and any problems anyone might have with the class. She offers extra credit papers but really you just have to write four papers and take a midterm and a final.

Very nice professor and one of the smartest people I've ever met. I enjoyed her class immensely and it was one of the few classes I wish was year long. She is always willing to help and answer any questions you may have. If you have any interest in the Middle Ages, take a class with her!

The class was interesting, although there would be points where she would ramble on and you would lose focus in the class. There are 6 papers to write, but you are only required to write 4 of them . Plus she provides extra credit that can bump up your grade by 4 % points. Easy class to take if you need a World Culture credit.

Great professor! The class is a little boring but it's super awesome if you love learning about history, even the stuff that isn't important for the exams. You only have to write 4 papers out of 6 options and they're super easy. I highly recommend this class!

This class blows. Class is so boring and she is a terrible teacher. All she does is ramble on about things that no one cares about. Also she is the worst grader. She makes the class harder than what it needs to me. It was a waste of my time.

I do not recommend this class to anyone. First of all, having mandatory attendance and being forced to listen to her ramble on about pointless topics is pure torture. Also, the grading for the tests and papers seem as if they are based on what kind of day her or the TA's are having. Save yourself the trouble and do not take this class.

Deliyannis is a great teacher to have for their first 300 level history course. She's super interested in what she teaches and will give feedback on any book essay. I highly recommend taking a class with her.

I liked her class, but it took me the entire semester to figure out that she was focusing a lot on architecture and all the picures in the powerpoints were there for a reason.

I thought she was a wonderful professor even though she did tend to ramble. She clearly loves what she's teaching and loves sharing her knowledge with students. Also quite helpful, and it doesn't hurt that the class is pretty easy.

She's not bad, her class can be boring some times but overall it was a good class. She makes you write 4 papers and they aren't that bad either. The class is really easy if you just go and pay attention.

This is by far one of the worst classes I've ever taken at IU. I am a journalism major and write papers all the time, and rarely get below an A. I've written 2 papers so far for this class and gotten C's on them both, and not for lack of trying. The lectures are INCREDIBLY boring b/c she goes on senseless tangents that have nothing to do with class
