Took Professor DeMattio for English Comp I in the Fall of 2018. She was an AMAZING professor. Professor DeMattio goes above and beyond for her students. One of the most passionate teachers I've ever had. Professor DeMattio truly loves what she does and it shows. I would DEFINITELY take her again and HIGHLY RECOMMEND her to others.

She is without question one of the sweetest people I have ever met. That being said, you still need to show up. She is very disorganized. She was 10 minutes late everyday because she was helping students in her previous class. I will say that I learned absolutely nothing. If you want an easy A take her class, if you want an education don't.

She would skip class and then come and talk about her own personal life. Pop quizzes were her favorite even though we didnt actually learn anything in class. Shes sweet but she is unorganized and would loose papers. Never responded to emails. She would talk about other students grades in front of class. I would never take her class again.

All round a great person, but when it comes to teaching she's on the weaker side. I pretty much had to teach my self the material. She hops all over the place and gets off topic a lot. She's good with meeting after class or before. expect there to be 15 or 20 minutes of free time before class since she is usually late every day.

Took Professor Demattio for a pre-req english class last summer and absolutely loved her so I took her for comp 2 this past semester. Yes, she is a disorganized professor but makes sure that all students are on the same page and understand what is going on. She is very accomodating if you need extra time on an assignment. Truly cares!!

We didn't get any grades back until the last two weeks of class, which is a shame because the class could have been really good. She chose good readings for the class and the tests and quizzes were relevant. If you aren't to concerned about your grade I would take this class but if you are I wouldn't recommend it.

She is a "sweet" woman until you ask her a question about anything then the switch goes off and becomes super mean and rude. She is very unorganized. We had multiple assignments, essays, quizzes and test and we NEVER got back any of our grades! At the end of the semester she had to change many grades. She'll give you a grade you don't even deserve.

She is the best teacher ever. I took her for basic skills and Comp 2. Passed both classes with A's. She is awesome I love her. She is a little strange and very disorganized but she means wells and wants the best for you and wants you to really learn the material. I will definitely recommend her to everyone that wants an easy A.

Probably my favorite professor at CCM, she's sweet, smart, and hilarious. The work isn't too bad but occasionally she'll assign a long reading or take home quiz. Always gives more time to do assignments if there is confusion. Very relaxed and flexible. Definitely take one of her classes if you like literature!

Incredibly nice but if you make her angry apparently she's crazy. Didn't give us the syllabus until week 7 of class. Very unorganized but quizzes are easy if you know the plot of stories. It's obvious which students she likes and if she likes you, you're golden. Also strangely obsessed with David Lynch. She's not bad but needs more organization

Likes to go on unrelated tangents but they are funny & entertaining. She means well but sometimes her instructions come across as unclear. She's an easy professor and makes writing the term really easy because she breaks it down very simply. Some days she doesn't show up, she's usually late and takes breaks often. Take her if you want to slack off.
