When I took 291 with Deep, it was his first time teaching the class, but you couldn't tell. He explains the concepts very well, is very personable and funny and rarely assigns homework. The quizzes and tests are pretty easy. I wish I could have him again!

Had Deep for 191 and he was such a good teacher I took him for 291 as well. Lectures are clear and easy to understand, just make sure you show up to class because the book is indecipherable and he doesn't upload notes to blackboard or anything.

An excellent teacher,the material is a bit heavy but he explain everything very well,his teaching style is interesting ,I only wish he recorded his lectures ,if you miss one class its hard to catch up!overall excellent experience!
