Comment:
Lectures were sometimes tedious, but if you do the homework questions and study more outside of class, you should be solid. Very fair with partial credit on exams and quizzes (you get 50% on quizzes automatically just for showing up to take them). Sometimes sounds a bit condescending when answering questions, but he knows his stuff.

Absolutely terrible professor. Can't understand him 75% of the time, and I'm forced to teach myself all the material. Diff EQ is a hard class to begin with, and Dr. Han doesn't help that at all. Unfortunately, UCF lists most math profs as "Staff" during enrollment, so either pray you don't get him or avoid him if he's listed.

Sweet guy with very mild accent. Lectures are very clear. Announced quizzes and test are based purely on the straightforward homework problems assigned, making it very feasible to get high A's on everything. Success in this class is based purely on how much effort is put into doing and understanding the homework. Book isn't needed with good notes.

Dr. Han is extremely intelligent and is a very good calculus teacher. I took AP Calc in high school but anyone could pass this course. Don't be intimidated by his accent, he moved from China 15 years ago, but it's something you definitely get used to in the first week. He gives immensely fair partial credit and the tests were easy all year. 10/10

He has a heavy accent so you need to pay attention to understand him; he makes a lot of mistakes but he definitely knows the material. Homework isn't mandatory, but you should definitely do the few problems he assigns each class. Don't fall behind and the class will be an easy A; there are 3 tests and a final, the final can replace the lowest test.

Good professor although sometimes difficult to understand. Gives fair tests with good partial credit. No mandatory homework but there are quizzes, half the credit of the quiz is attendance. My only complaint for the class is that the textbook is horrible, I have never had such a useless textbook.

Dr. Han is a fantastic teacher; explains concepts thoroughly and readily answers questions. You get used to his accent in a couple of days. It's not an easy class, but he reviews before each test and if you actually put in effort and do the homework you'll do fine.

Good Teacher if you have previous calculus knowledge. Very hard to understand and your math skills have to be almost top notch to keep up with his tests. Class was normally short but good luck hearing him, he talks into the board often.

Had him over the summer and was not please. Hard to understand, and talked to the board. Smart, but made simple mistakes and went too quickly thru problems to catch his own mistakes. Take him only if you have to, would not be my first choice. You will have to teach yourself alot, and use math lab if your basic skills arent perfect going in.

Graded via 3 exams plus a final. Final was very difficult and took the entire time. Drops lowest test grade. Very difficult to understand, but I go used to it. His class is tough review because the nature of the material lends itself to PRACTICE and more practice. VERY LITTLE THEORY.

This guy is honestly the best professor i have had in mathematics. He is amazingly smart, but is able to bring it down to you level. Of course Calc 2 is not an easy class so expect to work, but if you do all the hw the tests are straight problems from it so youll do fine

Han is one of the top math teachers at UCF. He is manic and hard to understand at times but he does teach the concepts. He gives excellent partial credit and takes test questions from the homework. You only are graded on 4 tests, but he does his best to make sure you don't fall behind. Do all homework and show up to class and you can pass.

He's the best Calculus teacher I've encountered at UCF. Had him for Calc 2 and it was great (for calc 2). His tests are very fair, he usually will curve grades. He can seem eccentric but he is quite good at teaching. Only problem is he can be hard to understand. A lot of fun to watch, funny at times.

Amazing professor, he made calc 2 seemed easy. I read the book after class and that helped me understand better. Then do the homework. He uses homework problems and review problems on his tests, and changes them around sometimes. Take this class if you want a good understand of calc 2. You can understand him after the first day.

I recommend him. Only down side is he doesn’t speak English well. 3 tests and a final. You can either drop a test and the final counts as 2, or keep all 3 and the final counts as 1. GENEROUS PARTIAL CREDIT! P.S. I counted him saying “right?” 150 times in 1 class. thats 2 time a minuet guys.
