If you don't have legal experience I recommend reading the textbook. The quizzes are 5 min and you best know your stuff. Exams are a hour long and again you best know your stuff because you get less than a min per question. Just apply yourself and you will be fine.

Dr. Deason-Toyne is a good professor. She will do her best to help you, but expects you to do your best to help yourself. In most of her classes including this one test are critical for the grade. She also knows her stuff and can apply information to real life experiences. Not a cake class, but very do able.

An extremely hard class. Make sure you read the chapters 2-3 times because you only get 5 minutes to take a 10 question quiz. I highly recommend not taking her if you are a slower reader. She never really gave us a schedule we would just randomly get an email that stated we need to either look at the discussion board or the assignments section.

This was a hard class. It takes a lot of time to work on homework and you have 75 questions in 50 minutes on her tests. So beware if you are a slow reader some are more than a sentence long question. She is good at emailing back pretty fast.

If you do the homework assignments and really work on them you will do great on the tests. takes about 2hrs of hw a week. Also use the multiple choice questions provided on the book publishers web site. At least half are used on her tests. She may seem mean but its just her personality. She is always super nice outside of class.

She is an amazing teacher! She has a super awesome teaching style which makes it easy to learn the class material. I would definitely recommend her to anyone. This course is very hard, but she made it seem like a cake walk. Trust me, she's a great person and a great teacher.
