Prof. Dyer makes a required course not a bad one. Once a week 3 hour classes sometimes drag, but her variety and student input generally makes it a class I don't mind going to. Work load is appropriate for course and she is a very friendly teacher.

Get ready to take a nap. She is very gung-ho about the class, but unfortunatley, the class is a snooze. It's too bad that she is soooo nice because I actually felt bad about not liking the course. I got an A, but if u don't need the class move on!

Youth and Social Policy: Easy class in that there are only papers, and she breaks it up with discussions that the class can actually get involved in, I really like her and would recommend her to anyone.

class material was very easy, her grading policies were very unfair. After receiving A's on all tests and papers I got a B in the class because she felt I did not talk enough in class.

she's an adjunct...this course is very very boring and she doesn't do much to make it better. the course description says nothing about what the course is REALLY about. she likes to have guest speakers.
