Hands down one of the best professors at UCC. She really wants her students to do well, and does everything she can to help them. She explains everything throughly so theres no confusion and she is always willingly to help if needed. If you want a good english teacher definitely take her!

Dr. Lagos is by far the best professor I have ever had. Extremely inspirational and motivational. Her class is well taught and her passion about teaching is what makes her so great. She gives a good amount of work but it is all very do-able. Such a caring lady that is ALWAYS ready to help. Learned SO MUCH from her. Very accessible outside of class

Dr. Denise Lagos is an amazing professor. She's respectfully and will always help you get the grade you deserve. If you put in the work she will notice and you will pass if you dont you will fail. Show up to class ready to learn. I have taken her for ENG 101 & 129 English classes i have taken.

Dr Denise Lagos is and excellent teacher. I always happy and excited to go to her class. She is serious about her teaching, but she will make you laugh sometime. Not only she's a great teacher, I also love her style. She always dress nice. I learn a lot from her class especially with the book review project. I wish I could take her again. Keep up!!

Dr. Lagos is definitely UCC's best professor. I wish she taught more classes because, I would love to have her as a professor again. Her English 101 class was extremely easy to pass. If you do not pass, then you most likely are lazy and did not do her work. Awesome professor and would definitely recommend her!

During the first week, she sets ground rules. Do not let that scare you off because she is a great professor. She thoroughly explains all of the assignments and she is always there to help. She is very passionate about teaching and that is what makes her so great. Take full advantage of her office hours.

I had Dr. Lagos for both English 101 and Public Speaking. She is by far my favorite professor. She wrote my letter of recommendation and is such a sweet heart; although, she is precise with how she keeps her class and students. Show her respect and she will do the same.
