Amazing teacher. I had a ton of personal difficulties and setbacks in her class, but she helped me both with getting caught up on missed work and with emotional support. By far one of the best teachers I've ever had. Will spend time outside of class whenever possible. She makes the class fun.

Good teacher, sometimes was kind of moody. Always willing to help, but she took a while to grade stuff. Granted, grading programs is time consuming, shouldn't take a month and a half though. Midterm/Final is quite challenging

Comment:

She was a fun teacher. Hilarious to listen to, and made class a blast. She's a TEASE. Occasionally she confuses the languages but she makes up for it really well. Gives a good amount of Extra Credit and drops low scores. Program assignments are short and sweet and tests/quizzes are from the book. All in all I would recommend this teacher!

Comment:

I went to PCT a long time ago, and had many of the profs still there. It appears there is a recurring issue of courses and profs not being prepared as they try to keep emerging technology in the coursework. This leads to a crappy education, then they send you to the tutoring center, when you didn't get what you paid for in the first place.

Comment:

Completes programs in class that can be used as great examples for all programs assigned for completion at home. Also is very willing to help students who have questions. Highly recommend over Golshan because she builds foundation needed for Programming 2, when you are stuck with Golshan unfortunately. Great teacher and I learned a great deal.

She's an okay professor, but isn't much help if you need it. She teaches directly from the powerpoints from the book, and sometimes takes a little to figure out how to do the example program in class. She is a nice person, but if you have her and need help, best bet is to go to the tutoring center, or to someone who can help.

This course is much better than the old CSC 110 class. You use a lot of new web-based technology. We had some problems with WIMBA, but teacher was very understanding and worked through it with us. Moderate work, not nearly as much as 110, and defiantly more interesting.

I found her class to be informative, she was very accessable and friendly. I especially liked the voluntary extra session online once a week.Highly recommend her class! She started using a new online communication system WIMBA which had a learning curve for everyone, she remained patient and poised through it all.

Great teacher for Java! She goes through the powerpoint from the book, then the class writes example programs for what you just learned. Then she shows you how to tweak them, or shortcuts after she shows you the concepts. I would highly recommend her!

Mrs. Leete is a wonderful instructor. She gives easy to understand examples for the material she is teaching you. She tries to help struggling students during class time, but if the problem is too complicated to solve, she would rather you stay after class, to give the rest of the class fair time to learn. Highly recommend taking her classes!

Absolutely terrible. She gets annoyed at the people who don't know what they are doing and pissed at the people that do know. She always made mistakes, that she couldn't find the answers too. If you do get her, use the book instead of following her. You'll get done faster and won't have to go back to the beginning afterwards. I would not recommend.

I took this as a distance class but she offered lots of help and responded to questions promptly. I would take on of her classes anytime.
