She was okay. I took her for Universal Design, and she didn't really "teach" us how to utilize it in our classrooms. She had us in pairs and then we did presentations. Put it this way. The first group had a lot of help from her and it was mostly video clips and her talking about the topic. They still got an A.

one word. crazy. i told her that. i finished grad school in 3 semesters while teaching n i have never done as much work for anybody else as i did for. she sterssed me out extremely, but i must say what she taught me was invaluable and i owe it to her for pushin me in2 a doctorate program. is she mean? no. just go 2 class n engage urself n u'll b ok

She's the only teacher I've ever had that taught Bloom and Vygotsky in great detail - almost to ad nauseum - but I got it! AND, the differentiated lesson plan project was invaluable.

I took her Assistive Tech class; she was great! Personally I found the information very useful for someone interested in teaching young kids. The class was fun, hands-on and self-motivating. She may seem proud, but she should be. She has done great things for Special Education.

She was a wonderful teacher and the class is only hard if you're lazy. So, if laziness is one of your PRIME qualities, don't take her, but if you are the type to APPLY yourself, you'll do fine and learn ALOT in the process. Overall, GREAT professor!

Grades by favoritism. I kept notes in that ridiculous binder and copied EVERYTHING I missed from a girl in class. When Stone looked at the binders midcourse, she got an A, I got a C. Stone claimed it was inadequate, but wouldn't tell me why.

I have her for 2 classes this semester and I think she's great. She gets off track easily, but her classes go by pretty fast and she gives a lot of good teaching advise. I would recommend her to anyone, just don't get on her bad side.

Dr Stone let the class have open notebook for tests and that was extremely helpful, since there is SO MUCH info to cover. She tried to answer questions the best she could about the OLD and NEW program--which was driving everybody crazy! I look forward to being her student in assist tech.

Such a sweet woman and an amazing advisor. Just do your work, do a good job on your 10 page lesson plan, and PARTICIPATE. I cannot stress that enough. I would take her again...just don't tell her that you disagree with anything she says or else you're in trouble all semester....

she's an ok professor; open notebook tests but you have to use her style of notes. spends most of the time talking about useless information and answering students non important questions. if you can avoid her, do so.. if not, just be prepared for class, participate, and you'll do just fine.

I think she was one of the best teacher ever. all the information is open book and note book and understands other problems and is liberal to work it them. I do not understand how he is scoring so low. If you got a bad grade in her class, you derved it for not doing her work. I think it's easy.
