This class is pretty straightforward for a Finance class. Professor Ozenbas writes everything on the board and does a pretty good job explaining the material. She has two midterms and drops the lower grade, final, core paper and connect homework every week.

Comment:

She's the best. Clear lectures, fair grading. Exam questions come from the HW she gives, so if you study the practice questions you'll do well. You can also earn extra credit if you do the Bloomberg certification which is easy. I definetely recommend.

She's honestly not that bad. The class is hard but she doesn't take attendance and she lectures the whole time. There are two midterms, 1 final. The exams are just like the connect homework and she only keeps the highest midterm grade. If you know how to cheat take her, if not don't bother.

This professor is HORRIBLE and over rated on this site. She lectures the entire class, does not explain material at all, and her accent is hard to understand. 2 midterms and a final, she drops the lowest score but do your best on the first the second is IMPOSSIBLE to pass. she does offer 4 extra credit points on your overall grade.

great prof, explains things clearly until everyone understands, gives great reviews before each exam to really prepare you, connect hw, 2 exams(only 1 counts), and a final. gives you formula sheet!!! which is awesome i heard a lot other finc300 prof dont do this. she always answers questions after class to help u, really cares that u understand.

Best finance prof!! explains things SUPER clearly. tests are identical to what she went over with you in class so know that, and you will do well on the test. Online homework is easy and helps you prepare for test. 100% recommend!

You need to study hard for this class. But it was worth it because I learned a lot and I am a Finance major. She is very knowledgable and fair, one of the best teachers at MSU. There is a group presentation, an individual paper and HW sets for each cahpter. 2 midterm (drops lowest) and a final. Take her if you don't mind hard work to really learn.

Comment:

Easy class if you've taken accounting and calculus, not so much if you haven't. Expected it to be much harder. Provides all formulas for tests so you can focus on calculating and analyzing rather than rote memorization of a ton of formulas. I found her to be easy, but I like math and accounting so keep that in mind.
