Dr. Cooke was a great prof. The sheer wealth of knowledge that you could tell he had for the subject made me want to learn more about it, and the fact that he didn't kowtow to the students earned him that much more of my respect. The class wasn't terribly easy, but it was one of the few where I could actually feel myself thinking (which can be nice once in a while) ;).

This was probably my most favorite class at Kent. Dr. Cooke had me so interested in Bio that I sometimes forgot to take notes because I was hanging onto his every word. Tests are difficult, but not impossible.

Awesome class! I would encourage everyone to take this class with Dr. Cooke! He was more than willing to help his students and really enjoyed answering their questions and encouraging students to think about the material! Great learning opportunity!

Very interesting way in which he presented material and subject matter. I did not learn until close to the end of the semester that what he says is usually more important that what he writes on the onverhead. Very Smart and fun at times.

amazing class, very dedicated professor, very energetic and enthusiastic about the subject matter, tests are a bit challenging because they require you to think (whoa!...what a concept) but that way you actually learn. he is very helpful IF YOU ASK!

Extremely hard tests, class notes STINK, no extra credit, no help whatsoever, but nice guy who can be interesting to talk with. Ehhhh... pick someone else I got a C in this course with him.
