He does not provide any structure in the way his class is taught. You do not know what you are responsible for learning and he doesn't bother teaching anything and only googles random things in class and rambles on. There is no textbook that he assigns and does not explain how to do things. He spends a majority of his time telling bad jokes.

Dr. Dormady is really funny and nice. You work at your own pace on the myitlab software, so you can't really fault him on the curriculum. He gives you a lot of freedom in the speed at which you progress. Projects were fun and we learned a lot: podcasts and actually using the skills in papers.

I really didn't want to take this class, since I "already knew everything" about Microsoft Office. Turns out I was wrong, especially about Excel! Dormady made the class interesting AND educational. Learned a lot.

One sharp professor! He knows his subject and he loves it...even his "bad jokes" show that. He definitely cares about you as a student and while he expects you to work, he will go out of his way to help you if you don't understand something. Usually with a very strange example or story, but it makes sense afterwards! Good Prof!!

I had already taken a computer class and transferred to JU. I had to take the computer class again! But I still learned things I didn't know from Dormandy about Office and other applications. And how to protect myself online...something I hadn't really thought about! Good class! Great Prof!

Take this teacher! He isn't like all the other teachers for this class...my friends tell me their class was sooo o boring! He let us work at our own speed and even gave "days off" if we were done early. Plus we did some really COOL projects like our own podcast and mess with some pictures.
