This class was overall pretty fair. Driggers has a unique sense of humor but it didn't bother me at all. Class is mainly just a discussion on current events. I did not go to Si, did not find it helpful. As long as you are good at memorizing you should be good. Attend class because he gives you the exact answers. He also gives extra credit.

Class is okay, Driggers is nice. SI is super helpful. The SI leader will help you as much as the professor, so you have two sources for help. Class is boring at times, but SI was so much fun. Take Dr. Driggers!

Driggers was a great instructor. He is very brash in class but truly cares about his students. He's a military veteran and wants you to do your best. He gives you all of the material - even the test questions - so you have no reason to fail. He knows this, so he gives no sympathy "bumps" in the end. Just do your work and you'll do great.

Driggers has to be one of my favorite instructors. Before taking is class I heard he was tough and sexist, but as a female I didn't feel like that at all. He was fair and gave us lots of history and info on current events. His perspective on what's going on with our government was interesting. He told us from the beginning what was expected.

This class is a class that you have to work to pass. The book is not really required but is a big help. Class time is spent going over current events for around 20 mins then you go over 3-4 questions from the study guide he provides. You have 4 tests and a 5 one page papers that don't require a lot of effort. Studying is required.

Great teacher, if you get offended easily don't take this class. He gives you a study guide and lectures are him answering the questions in order, if he does not get to all the questions he will email the questions to those who attended class. Tests are tough but fair.

Dr. Driggers was a good teacher. Very rough guy - many saw him as unapproachable; though when I started asking him questions, I soon found myself having full conversations with him. Class is strange though. Driggers teaches by giving you hundreds of bullet points. I was fine with it - just write down what he says. Got 410 of 400. Just show up.

Emails answers to tests to those who show up to class and sign in. So SHOW UP even on usual days because you never know when he will decide to give you the answers. 3 tests, 1 extra credit syllabus test. Non comprehensive. Write 5 letters and turn them in for credit. Possible to pass. Out of 400 pts, I got 399. Just show up &memorize study guides.

1. Give you answers to the study guide before exams. 2. Only talks about current events. 3. 1 extra credit 4. attend SI sessions, you'll pass guarantee. 5. Do not have to go to class. 6. Do not need to get the book.

Tests are easy if you're the type to study by yourself and have a good memory. Attend SI sessions to get the practice questions; which basically makes up the test. If you're good at polysci there's really no need to show up to class. He does reward those who show up on empty days with extra credit. Lectures are boring & irrelevant most of the time.

He doesn't lecture. Lecture is just him talking about things that are on the newspaper. So you're on your own. You need to read read read and go to SI which sometimes suprisingly doesnt help. His tests are hard and try to fool you. He will change one word and make that his false answer. He tests differently which can hurt you. wouldnt recommend.

He gives you everything you need to pass, the class is just boring and tests are hard but not impossible. He gives extra credit occasionally but you have to go to class regularly to keep up with those opportunities. He's not bad but he's not good.

His class is tough because your entire grade rides on your test scores. Use SI as much as possible and stay on top of readings and do the study guides. Don't expect an A, but it's definitely possible if you work super hard.

Class is pretty boring, all he does is ramble about current events the entire lecture. He does give out study guides which are essentially the test. Make sure you come to class otherwise he won't give you the study guide. The writing assignment is literally just writing letters to local and state politicians, super easy.

Driggers was hilarious, an awesome granted. Felt like class was just time to have a conversation but i liked it. Only 4 tests & 1 writing assign. about 50 extra credit points. Granted he didn't teach a whole lot, but study guides were exactly like the tests. Ben from SI was a rockstar, if he's doing it definitely go, he'll save you if you're lost.

This class wasn't a bad as I expected it to be and he is very interesting and humorous but does not teach what is on the test at all! Ben, the SI leader taught me more when he would come in. Towards the end of the semester he cancelled class a lot which sucked. I would recommend taking it with someone else!

Be prepared to go to SI or you will struggle passing, grade based off the tests/5 letters I had to write to officials. Study guides help, focus on those. Tests are long/written in a way where he changes words on some of the questions from the study guide,to me thats not effective, kind of like he's try to trick you, long questions took up test time
