Favorite teacher so far! He talks about the most random things but they are interesting. Tests are common sense just skim over some notes for a few minutes and you'll get an A. Uses real life experiences for lots of examples. Take this class.

erb is the easier orgo professor. but that's because he teaches you less material and stresses the important stuff. goes at a very slow pace. if you are planning on going to grad school in chem or med school or pharmacy school do not take. if you aren't take him he's extremely easy. perfect for all you bio majors that get us chem majors huge curves

Great professor. I had him for Organic I and II and he's better than Loffredo and Freeman. Tests are based slightly off the practice tests BUT DO THE HOMEWORK because he uses the same problems sometimes. Great guy with cool stories. Get to know him and he'll help you out if you don't do so hot on his tests during his office hours.

I had him for Organic Chem 1 and am going to have him for Organic Chem 2. Awesome professor, really helpful during office hours and actually cares about his students. Do the homework and study the notes and his practice tests and you'll do alright. Tests were alright if you put in the time and effort. Better than any of the other teachers.

I had him for organic chem 1 and he made it a little easy for me. he goes at a slower pace then other organic teachers. take him and make your life easier in organic 1 but be ready to study a lot more often in organic 2. personality wise he's nice and can be funny sometimes.

He keeps class interesting. Usually tells a good story every day or makes fun of the author of the book. Organic chemistry isn't suppose to be easy, but he makes it easy. Take him if you want to get a good grade with little work. He drops a test grade if you had a bad day. Don't buy the book.

Organic is not easy and if you expect an easy A for little work and dedication--it isn't for you no matter who you take it with. With that in mind, Dr.Erb is an amazing teacher with great interest in his work. He does go on tangents but that's a plus for those who get bored of looking at carbon for an hour.

He is a nice guy as long as you don't talk while he is talking. He gives thorough explanations on the board. You really have to listen in the class.Grades are based only on exams.He doesn't give quizzes.There is no way to know how you were doing in the class before midterm grades. He's a good teacher but I wouldn't recommend him. His class is hard.
