If you took physics in high school you should be okay. I did not get through the class easily because I never took physics in High school or in previous college. As long as you try your best, respectful, show up to every class for in-class assignment, you should be fine.

Lots of chances for extra credit, some are on the online program though. I only bought the online program & used the ebook when needed. I am terrible at Math but Prof Haggerty is down to earth & easy to approach, love his encouraging stories. Do not skip class you will fall behind we do about 4 or more sections in a night!

He is a great guy who knows what he is doing. He shows the steps but doesn't really explain the steps. You have to go to class to get a basic understanding and then review with the book. There is a lot of teaching yourself

Prof. Haggerty is a fantastic guy, don't get me wrong. However, he has trouble lecturing and basically teaching you. He is not a great teacher and what's sad is he knows what he's doing and what he's talking about, he just has a hard time conveying it. I cannot tell you how many duplicate pages of notes I have because of repeated lectures.

Dr haggerty was very patient and understanding and knows what it takes to be a student. His class was easy for me because it was mostly review, however I learned how to be a student from taking him. He is an excellent professor and I'd recommend him to anyone, especially those struggling to get by!!

Dr. Haggerty is one of my favorite prof's I've had. Where lacks in clarity and solid teaching, he makes up in being just a cool guy and very understanding with workload. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Haggerty is by far my favorite teacher I've ever had. I probably didn't need to take this course because I already knew the material. The way he teaches is kind of difficult and a person who didn't already have the base knowledge of physics would struggle. He will attempt to help but most of the time you're on your own to teach yourselves.

Dr. Haggerty was the best teach I have had at CCBC yet. He is fun, and very passionate towards his work. His facial expressions are what I enjoyed about him as a person, the most. I highly recomend him to anyone. Take him, you won't regret it!

I had him for Physical Science. He is a GREAT guy but a horrible teacher. He has a REALLY hard time explaining the material and knows it. Alot of time was wasted i could have like paid for a whole nother class with what was wasted. As long as you do the quizes online and read your book you should do fine.

Great guy and teacher. I had no interest in physics prior to his class but after i left i knew way more than i wanted to..though i can't complain about it. Show up to class, participate a little, study for an hour...enjoy class and his great teaching style.

Excellent teacher. Don't waste time taking notes, just listen to what he has to say during class and you will do fine on the tests. Overall he could be more helpful towards students but still a great teacher.
