Professor Harrod is super nice and funny. We had hw every class, sometimes they were very long. you have to read to understand the terms and the class. If you participate and go to class youll be okay.

He goes out of his way to liven up the class. Really cares about students doing well. Homework due for every class, but this is to be expected in a 400-level language class. Overall, he's a great instructor who cracks a lot of jokes to keep things interesting. But definitely expect to participate!

Prof. Harrod is fabulous for 201! Although the jokes might seem a bit annoying, they really liven up a class that could be rather dull (spanish grammar, anyone?). Like many language courses, there's a daily workload, but everything's tolerable and he's very clear about expectations and due dates. All in all, a great class.
