He is better than I expect him to be. I'd like to regard fin540 as a review course because he covers the material at a very quick pace. u will be fine if you've got a solid knowledge on financial topics. 70+ is an A for each exam and totally we have 3 exams.

I know he's gonna read this so here is what I think. First of all there was no sense of direction is class! You can never know what is he really trying to teach. Secondly, this guy loves his course so much he literally takes it personal if you're not interested in it. Try forgetting what he said in last class and you'll know what am talking about.

This is the WORST teacher I've ever had in Binghamton for 4 years. Impatience when being asked questions; judgmental and unfair when treating students, never reply emails; legs on the table talk to u at office every single time. Trading room is a huge turn down, as u get nothing out of it. Unless you are as cocky as he is,(ideally more) go ahead.

I didn't take Fin 322 with him, but I still did well. It's not a difficult class because at some point he gives the answers to every question on the test in class (he also gives basic notes online). Just come to class. Take good notes. Participate and ask questions. It's all about being better than the rest. This class really should be harder.

agreed with the guy before me, class is not that difficult if you take amazing notes, exams are straight from notes, no tricks, so if you have great, and i do stress great notes, you will do well, crazy curve, hes not the best teacher, but you will learn something

Sucks: Lectures on nothing, tests on lecture. We're managing a portfolio. 2mo in and no one can pick a stock and yet I have page after page of useless notes. Trading room is a huge letdown. I'd have been better served to take FIN 322 with someone else, read WSJ & paper trade. Idk about his research but this is professional school, I don't care.
