Has been my adviser and a mentor to me since I began the major. All of his classes are to the point, but despite their difficulty he makes it a point to try and play with the material as best he can. Sadly he is retiring, I wouldn't have made it this far without him, all I can do is honor the motivation he's given me by being the best SLP I can.

Awesome Professor very straight forward and never a dead moment in his class. Tells hilarious stories which his stories are his teaching and you learn a lot from that because he keeps everybody riveted!!!

Grading Scale. 93 = A, 90-93 = B+, 82 - 89 = B. Serious class for serious students. Professor is very helpful. You will be quizzed weekly. Tests have completion, so know your terms and study both lecture notes and the book. Not an easy course, not a hard one. It is college.

He is an engaging professor who can keep his classes interesting. However, I found him to be not so nice of a person. He def. plays favorites and if he doesn't like you its pretty obvious. He was my advisor as well and he just didn't seem to care. He can be very unprofessional at times.

He is crazy. Extremely nice though. Phonetics is difficult but he makes it easy, well as easy as it can be made. The only thing I don't like is he makes you trascribe on the board in front of the class. Other than that he really knows his stuff and is extremely helpful. He tells funny stories too!

I love Lutz. He IS like the Dr. House of the Speech and Hearing world. At first I had a difficult time in the class. But, he is so willing to help. He may seem standoffish, but that is bc he wants you to come to him. His quirky stories and humor helps so much. The class is interesting and it flies by. I would deff recommend!!!

AWESOME PROFESSOR!! I had him for a class that seemed boring and hard, but I got an A!! He made class so EASY and FUN. Every class is like a stand-up commedy act!! He also reminds me of Jerry Seinfeld....any professor that can do that is worth taking!! Take him for ANY class you can, trust me....

Professor Lutz is awesome. Great teacher. I highly recommend him. He treats his class like grown-ups not people that are beneath him. Loved his class and I wish he was teaching other classes that I need.
