Comment:

Professor Lynch is the best professor I've ever had. He wants his students to actually learn and benefit from the class. The class is straight forward and Professor Lynch is easy to get in touch with.

Comment:

Professor Dennis Lynch is a great teacher. He really wants his students to gain useful knowledge from his class to become successful in future English classes. He gives clear guidelines for what is expected and extra credit oppurtunities throughout the semester. If you follow the day by day schedule and give your best you will do well.

Professor Lynch was a fun teacher to have. He is very witty and keeps things interesting by his constant engagement. Look forward to prompt email responses and weekly news updates. His grading is firm but fair. He also gives great feedback. There are TONS of opportunities for extra credit, so read the content and check your email for easter eggs!

Really awesome professor, easy to get ahold of and gave us plenty of opportunities to help our grade with extra credit. Consisted of 4 main papers and 2 tests, plus a bunch of small easy quizzes.

He is a harsh grader, and if you turn something in don't expect to get anywhere near full credit, even if you have a valid excuse. Also, he teaches the material well, and the homework load isn't that heavy.

Professor Lynch goes above and beyond to ensure his students have a great opportunity to learn in his classes. He expects hard work, but he gets it because his teaching style is so respectable that you can't help but want to impress him. He is amazingly fast to respond to communication as well. If you have a choice, choose Professor Lynch!

Good teacher overall. Did find him to be more of a tough grader, but always there to answer questions. Print off the day to day schedule and make sure you follow it. Work is due almost every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Heavy amount of homework and quizzes. Will not let you turn in any late for any reason, so make sure you get it done.

Lynch was a great professor. I was in his online section of English 101. He responds to emails and grades this very quickly, and guarantees you will hear back from him or receive your grade within 24 hours. He is open and always avaliable with questions. You write 4 papers, which wasn't bad at all.

He loves teaching and although the actual class can be boring because he gives so many examples they all help in the end. Every lesson is interactive and everyone is expected to speak once but it all goes into a huge bonus grade at the end of the term. As long as you go to class and turn in work on time you'll get a good grade and learn a lot.

Professor Lynch is a nice guy. He is very easy to contact outside of class, he gets back to you almost instantly. While I did find him to be a tough grader, he is clear on what he expects from you and he gives generous feedback to every assignment you turn in. If you use the textbook and pay attention to everything on the syllabus, you will do fine

I am on Unit 3 of 4 in his online English 101 class and I love every second of it. He holds me accountable for all my work, gives me great feedback on all of my work, respects me for who I am without judging, and his grading criteria is crystal clear- he uses a point system. All in all, he is a fantastic professor. I would recommend him to anyone!

Great teacher! I took his class online and it was very easy. Very helpful if you need it and gives great feedback on papers. Assignments are very clear and will gladly clear up any misunderstanding you may have on anything. Read his assignments and posts carefully because if he makes a mistake and you catch it, he'll give you extra credit.

I took this course online. I can see why students like this professor. However, when I went to him for help he was very rude, talked down to me, and told me that in all of his years of teaching I was the most unbelievable student he's ever had. Would not recommend.

Deducted points from an assignment on Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech because I used the "n-word" while QUOTING the speech directly. Expects you to really know your grammar (which is good), so if you don't start practicing. No less than 5 assignments a week; if you miss the deadline goodbye points. There are EC opportunities every unit

I loved Professor Lynch. I took English 101 hybrid course with him and I do not have any complaints. He's very reasonable and really helped me learn how to better my writing. His main focus is grammar, and loves the use of semicolons. He was constantly offering extra credit and giving very helpful feedback on papers. Would definitely recommend!
