Comment:

Sweetest man, gets that we have lives outside the studio and understanding about life issues. Gets that people have dif studio practices. Need to ask for help to get it, but is helpful if you ask for it. Doesn't push own style on you, complementary but not fake, just sees the good in your work. Some of the most well directed cries I've ever had.

Dennis is the best painting professor at Pratt. He allows you to actually work on your own images. He doesn't force feedback unless you want or need it. It is really obvious that he is dedicated to his students. It is by far my favorite class and Dennis is definitely my favorite professor at Pratt.If you havent taken a class with dennis you need to

He is definitely one of the hottest painting professors at pratt. He is also really sweet but can be too laid back so sometimes it could be hard to get feedback. But at least if you know what you wanna say and already have enough amount of work to present, he can be critical enough to help you pushing forward about your work.

I love this man. He can be confusing and ramble on a bit, but he is always happy to put his thoughts into more coherent sentances. If you are person that needs more direction, you might want to pick a more direct/forceful prof. I truly love this man, though. And don't be afraid to really chat with him, he's great!!!

I had Dennis for LCD Freshman year, painting sophomore year, and now drawing as a senior. Like the person above said, he's helpful tailors his advice to the path you're on. He's laid back, but also grades hard. But you're here to work hard!
