Mr. Zeisler was awesome. He obviously loves music and has a very relaxing class structure. Listening to the lecture was enjoyable. The class was pretty easy. 3 tests straight from the reading, including several listening exercises (listen to the song and name the composer). The tests were also loaded with extra credit.

He is a fabulous director! but make sure you don't come unprepared he can single out anyone in the group with his super sonic hearing! but as long as you are prepared for class there will be no problems.

Pretty much, keep him happy and your life shall remain happy! Haha, but no seriously he can be your best friend or your worst enemy! Arrive on time and put out 100%. If you supply him with your time, he will definitely make it worth while. He has been with the University for a very long time and knows just about everything you need to know

More of a musical appreciation than History. It was very well structured. Classic "Survey" course. Graded very easily, up to 40 possible xtra credit on tests. Do the listening guides! That is always 25 points of xtra credit(5 possible selections out of 7 or so conductors)

Always willing to listen to your problems and help you if he can...very understanding person. Not a difficult professor, but do your work because you don't want him to be upset with you. Will push you when you need a little pushing.
