"SOLID!" I love to hear that. This guy is AWESOME! His teaching style shows you the practical and he really wants to hear what you have to say. I would highly recommend this teacher. I really worked my butt off to get an A but it was well worth it!

Best english teacher I have had. TONS of energy, Will not put up with crap from his students and this is a good thing. Will let you know what he expects and than hold you to it. Only time I have read shakespeare and not been bored to death

Though he is retired by now and he had screwed me up but i would still say he's a Greaet teacher. Not only becoz of his well-known fun teaching style, but also his passion he put in this class. IS THERE ANY INSTRUCTOR WILL GIVE UNLIMITED REWRITE? As he says, "The best writing is rewriting"

Not so sure how he conducts english writing, but he was a great prof for jazz history. Once he sat at piano and said, "I was playing piano at a jazz club and this kid kept asking, 'My mommy said you'd play BEAUTY AND THE BEAASSST!' I replied, 'Get out of here kid!' Then the kid ran off whining!" :-D

This guy was awsome. I learned a lot in his class. He was so entertaining! I agree that those who complain are those who get bad grades. But if you do the work and try to improve, it is impossible to get a bad grade. Best teacher in the English department
