His class lectures are all over the place. His online classwork list is very disorganized, for example quiz 8 was due before quiz 7, 9, and 10. Some homework instructions (in .doc format) have instructions that don't match up with the moodle instructions. The moodle classwork list is derived from another instructor. Would NOT recommend this teacher

Derald is a very sweet and humorous man, but he has got to be one of the worst teachers I've ever had. Took well over a month for him to grade work, most of the assignments on Moodle were always messed up in one way or another, he's disorganized and kept missing class without telling anyone ahead of time. Also, don't expect responses to emails.

Easy teacher, just get the labs done all at once and you can have 40% of your grade @ 100% in less than a week. He doesn't always reply to emails quickly but just pay attention to the material your given and you shouldn't need to email him.

His class format was very reasonable and chill. Attendance not req'd, but you should go. Lecture is casual, he makes a point of clearly mentioning what's important to know/remember. The due dates for the homework was very laid back, I had the freedom to put off the homework until week 8. It was hard work to catch up, but I appreciated the freedom.

This man was so disorganized...he wasted so much of my time. He lost homework. He didn't use the book well. Totally uninformed about the hours the computer labs were open, actully refirred students to go in on the weekends (when they were closed)Our class worked hard to get him into a classroom with computers for each student. HE DOESN'T USE THEM!!

I have to agree with the rest of these ratings. Mr. Grimwood was often late for class and very unorganized, way off topic, on what ever he felt like talking about. A waste of my time and I hardly learned anything. I'm over at UofO taking the next computer class for business and have had a bit of a struggle because didnt learn much in his class.
