One of the best University courses I have ever taken. Super nice guy that really understands what he is teaching. If you really engage with the class, you'll learn not only about the material but you'll gain a deeper understanding of yourself.

The best prof Ive had at university. Not a 'bird' course but if you do your work you should get an A. Very interesting topics that he discusses thoroghly. Sometimes I wonder how much pot he smoked when he was younger due to his ramblings and use of 'ummm' and 'you know'

His half of the class deals with interesting issues, but most of it seems like common sense... :S... He plays all kinds of great music at the beginning and during breaks. Pisaric's half is more interesting and challenging and fun, but this course if good for background info and a basic knowlegde of terms in cultural geo. He's a great guy though

Fantastic prof! Actually cares about his students' success. Would recommend taking any class he offers. To the people above that complained about the classes having too much cultural geographic content - what do you expect, he's a CULTURAL GEOGRAPHER!!?

first year classes generally suck, and this one was no exception. boring lectures, too much cultural geog for my personal interests. but as a prof, very helpful guy, very nice. and funny as hell on the field course, between the ****enness and the singing and piano playing:)

Renaissance man. I wouldn't be surprised if he played the cello, spoke Russian, and could repair a transmission. Great class. Very nice bloke.

Very nice guy. He explained the material very well and had to be the most unopinionated and unbiased person I have ever meet. He seemed constantly in fear of offending someone meaning he left the whole religious geographic section out of the course.
