13 quizes drops the lowest 3. Most quizes are multiple choice, but it is the hardest multiple choice I have ever seen. Sometimes the questions weren't in the lecture or the book. I ended up with a high B, but I studied hard for it.

I had Prof. Sweet for the summer semester of Humanities. A bit of advice - avoid summer humanities if at all possible! There is too much information to try to cover it all, but Prof. Sweet offers no breaks whatsoever. She asks for intricate details on her quizzes. Even if you read and take good notes, the quizzes are nearly impossible.

You really get your money's worth when you take Diane's 2D class. We never wasted time (like a lot of art teachers do), and that's a great thing in my book. The homework was not overly time-consuming, but it was extremely helpful. I like the way she is so clear with instructions; you'll never have to wonder what she wants from you.

I think this class would have been a wonderful tool for my art, had i not taken AP 2D studio art in high school. a lot of the concepts were repeated for me personally. if you are new to art, this will be a great class. if not, it's a good way to build your portfolio, but that's about it. it's an incredibly long class, be ready!

Ms. Sweet was a great professor. Taking the class in the summer is not recommended, but she tried to help as much as possible. Her accent may throw some people at first, but she's easy to understand after a bit. The quizzes are for the most part pretty easy, make sure to read over the class notes and look at the examples in the book carefully.
