He was a terrible professor. He has a sense of humor occasionally but not much. The online quizzes and in class tests were both really hard and he didnt teach the material well. I went to his office hours to get help with an online quiz once and he kind of helped and said my answers were right and then they ended up all being wrong

He is a really good professor. You have to work hard but he's good at explaining concepts. If you study enough you can do well and he's friendly to you if you participate in class and come to class. Don't come late or miss a class cause he'll call you out,

One negative comment on this website was actually mine. Diego is not a bad professor, he really does care about his students. Although he may not be the easiest you will learn the material. He is definitely a good guy and he has a very good, dry sense of humor. I recommend him.

I completely disliked this professor. He is not friendly at all. His online quizzes were too hard and his tests were fairly hard as well. He just is not a good professor. I went to his office hours once a week to show I cared but he did not care for it. I really wish professors like him were not aloud to teach.

Don't know why he's hated on so much, but I didn't take intro with him. He's not amazing, but he's not awful. His quizzes were hard, but were open book, internet and neighbor. tests were easy. he doesn't really like to be bothered in his office, so he isn't super helpful there.

Despite what everyone says about how difficult he is, I think he's a great professor. He's difficult but I've also learned a lot from him. He's now my econ advisor. His teaching method is clear and understandable and he has a cute spanish accent too!

Comment:

Kind of a hard teacher, but a fair grader and a good guy overall. Go in for help, and keep on top of everything, and you should be fine. Group study sessions seemed to help a lot. Don't study the night before tests, or else bad things happen.

Sure English is the man's second language, but he does a good job teaching. I always knew what was expected of me. If I was unsure, his office door was always open, and he was reachable via email as well. Expected us to do well, which made me want to do well.
