Hard to figure this professor. On one hand she seems moderately intelligent and thoughtful, while on the other she discriminates against students who disagree with her position on issues. Rather than teaching students she's inclined toward their left wing multicultural indoctrination. Stay away whenever possible.

I took her during the summer semester and it was honestly one of the best decisions. Her lectures were awesome and she always stayed after to help and answered e-mails pretty quickly. She is so smart and you can learn so much from her!

Best teacher ever!!! She pushes you and challenges you until your best comes out. I really appreciated her. I learned so much. She taught me something valuable and useful for my future classroom. I love her. Of course you have to put the work in. It's not easy but definitely do-able. Take her!!!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS OVER THE SUMMER!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS OVER THE SUMMER. She is very demanding, picky and tough. Lots of readings and lots of papers due almost every class. She grades harshly and expects so much from you that you can barely focus on your other classes.

Frankly taken aback at some of these negative remarks. I didn't find her course difficult at ALL. She's a teacher who actually teaches; class is a dialogue, not a copy-notes lecture. There aren't many of her calibre at this school. Don't take her if you don't want to think, I guess. Socrates answered questions with questions. Ain't a bad thing.

She is crazy and demanding, but she knows what shes talking about. She gives her best and expects the same from her students (which makes the class a pain). She is also very passionate about her subject which makes it even tougher. In the end, if you do what you gotta do and read everything she assigns, you should pass with a good grade.

This class was pretty hard, but the teacher is amazing. I think she gets a bad rep. from incoming students because this is by no means a "breeze" class. You HAVE to do your reading, and you HAVE to be pro-active about your work. I managed to end the semester with an A it is totally do-able, you just have to do your work!

Summer A - 6 weeks session. I got an A- but it is a lot of work. Do all of the assigned reading and remember it well. Some exams are take home and some are essay. Its easy but tedious work. Go to writing center for proofing essays/assignments. She is picky on grammar.

This was the worst class I have ever taken at FAU. Blackboard is loaded with documents which are not easily found because sometimes they have author names, sometimes it the article title. The readings are crazy because you have to get them from multiple books and/or Bb. Her grading makes perfect sense to her, the easiest part was the 6hr take home

This is a hard class im not gonna lie, but if you take it take it with her. She makes the class interesting and she really cares about what she teaches. Read half of the assignments so that you can participate because that is important. Be open minded and dont be afraid to speak up because she values that and you will get far. Good Luck

This class is extremely difficult. Lots of reading & guidelines for assignments that are confusing. Be prepared for hard grading and a lot of work. 3 papers 2 essay tests 1 big project @ end of semester that is very confusing. Once you think you know what she wants, she confuses you even more. Uses Bb to post info but hard to find. Hard teacher!
