I took Prof. Anselmi for 2 courses, Child Dev & Child Dev lab (1yr later). I strongly disliked her for child development. She was a tough grader and expected too much for one semester. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the lab class with her. The class was 13 of the size and she was able to devote time to each student. We had excellent discussions.

Prof Anselmi is very passionate and wants to share a ton of information, but cannot manage her time and ends up rushing through her lectures and making them absolutely incomprehensible. Her expectations are unreasonable. She made us devote 4 hours of our finals study day to present a semester long project with the final for her class the next day.

Prof. Anselmi is amazing! She's a hard grader and you have to work a lot, but its definitely worth it if your interested in the material! I would highly recommend taking any class with her. I learned so much in her class and she makes it very interesting!

One of the worst professors on campus! Anselmi picks favorites. Her favorites are: men and girls who are "Kappa Kappa". She is TOO wise about child development but that's ALL she knows about. Therefore, she talks WAAAAYY too much about her nephew and less on the subject at hand. Be prepare for "eye rolling" and "teeth sucking".

She's pretty smart but her lectures are, hmmm, not very challenging. She can't follow her outline because she wants to tell 200 stories about every single concept. Her exams are hard, you'll never know what she expects unless you go see her three times each week. If thats OK with ya, take her class.
