Comment:

Pretty cool professor but rather unorganized in her lectures. Her tests are not very clear and lectures are all over the place, making it hard to revise. Would be more helpful if she has a powerpoint for students to follow. Also, she does not give extra credit

Comment:

This professor is awesome, although tough. She appreciates effort (class participation and visiting office hours), but you definitely have to put in the work on your end to do well. Kind of intense, but she's very sweet. The exams are pretty much the only major grade, so if you don't do well on tests or don't want to put in the work don't bother.

Comment:

Dr. F is a pretty hard teacher. Her notes are all over the place and she can be quite confusing. However, she is very nice and helpful. But it is not worth it - her tests are incredibly tough and she doesn't teach half of the material. At the end of the year, i had a B+, but she curved my final grade to an A-, so she is good in that respect.

She is very unorganized with her lectures which makes it difficult to listen along while taking notes because she writes all over the board. She does not give any handouts, she is a heavy lecturer. 3 exams, 5 problem sets, and a lot of equations. Overall, if you are good at teaching yourself you will be fine, if not find another section ASAP.

Hardest teacher ever. Very all over the place with her teaching. Not helpful at office hours and tests are VERY hard and doesn't give you any thing to prep with or even list the things on the exam. Attendance is not required but if you want to pass the class it is. Doesn't give any extra credit.

Dr. Franceschi is a smart woman. She knows her stuff and is fast moving yet laid back. To do well and know whats going on, you need to be focused for the hour and 15 minutes. 2 problem sets, 2 papers, 1 midterm, and 1 final. I like her class.

Great teacher. You don't have to read the textbook to do well. Her tests can be difficult, but just because the material is difficult. She claims she does not gives As, but if you do the problem sets (there are 4), attend class, and do well on the tests it's possible. Great, clear teacher!

Love her! Her tests can be pretty hard but as long as you study you should be able to stay about the average and she curves so that'll bring your grade up more. If you do that and do well on the problem sets it's manageable. She's so helpful and a great teacher! Absolutely take her!

Well shes very pretty teacher, but when it comes to teaching taking notes is important. Make sure to read the sections before hand so that you can be prepared for her class. If you participate, do well on the problem sets and read ahead you should be all set for her class. Really nice teacher and really knows her stuff. I advise you take her.

Comes off being very nice at first but if you don't understand the material by the first exam your screwed for the rest of the semester. Her lectures are EXTREMELY boring and unstructured. Though she is very passionate about EC, if you aren't don't take.

Knows a lot about economics. Pretty passionate, but often sporadic. Usually class is unstructured but she usually gets a main point across each class. Class is not mandatory but its good to go. Read the text, understand it, and you will do fine. Laid-back class overall and I reccommend it.

Dr. Franceschi is a really nice lady who makes class interesting but I found her to be very unclear at times. She is also very particular when grading tests and especially the problem sets. You could easily get a good grade though if you do all the work.
