Simple class. Come or at least get the notes for every class. You really don't need to read at all, check out the books from the library. She requires a book review, which is just a fancy way of saying book report. Nothing interesting to learn other than the usual garble on women in politics. Wish there was more of a challenge. Tests were easy too.

You will get a definite A if you come to class or get the notes from someone every time, and do her book review. Its basically a book report. There wasn't much of a challenge although she brought in great guest speakers. But she is knowledgeable so it wouldn't be a complete waste of time. She is also willing to help students who ask for it.

I thought Dr. Titus was an excellent teacher. I do not know what can prepare someone to teach political science and women in politics better than actually being a woman in politics. She did not show favoritism- despite being a Hillary superdelegate she listened to my arguements for McCain with respect and courtesy.

Good teacher. She isn't the easiest, but the tests are reasonable. Don't be stunned if she grades the first test harder than the final. Tests are blue book and cover mostly notes from class. Be sure to cite actual examples of concepts on the exam. Detail is always better. The book report is not as bad as you think.

Prof. Titus is a horrible professor. Her classes are unbelievably biased in every way possible. I consider myself to have moderate views and even I get offended by her political agenda she pushes in the classroom. Overall, she isn't very helpful, always late, and could care less about what you learn

I admire Dina Titus alot, however I feel that she is a better politician and shines in the political arena. As to her teaching, I wish that she could be more specific b/c I felt that the class was a review of Dr. Goodwin's women's studies class. If you like an easy course, please I reccommend her class to you. All you have to do is do a short book

Made me want to vote for Gibbons. The WORST. I had a 4.0 and she gave me a B my last semester. She missed class a lot and put her political agenda before her students. If she did show up she was LATE. Freaked out the day of evals claiming we "lag our asses in late." Always cuts out early. Phony. Rude. Favored students who worked on her campaign.

Always late!Doesn't value our time that we pay her for! Very disorganized and scattered. Can be very mean if you are on her bad side. Not helpful, quite condescending at times. Brings her political beliefs into classroom- not a good thing if you disagree with her. Gets too personal below the belt. Grading is inconsistant, at times, unfair to some.

Prof. Titus is amazing! She will challenge you to know the material and then some, but you will walk away with a greater understanding of the subject. Take as many classes with Titus as you can!

She is an amazing Prof. I have learned more from her in the 3 classes I have taken from her than any other classes. Her Nuclear Politics class is great she is so full of facts and knowledge about the topics she teaches. I also took Legislative Process and Women in Politics and both of those classes were great as well.

A worthless instructor and a worthless political candidate. I'm sorry that this institution thinks so little of itself to keep her on staff. I only hope this state is not so blind as to elect her for governor! Just listen to her speak... She sounds like she just got off the bus from the pumpkin patch! Pass on her class!

This was by far the most chaotic and disorganized class i have ever had the misfortune to take during my tenure at UNLV. Considering it was "State Politics," i find it particularly pertinent that Titus couldn't even handle teaching it in a meaningful, engaging manner. How can she run our state when she cant even run her own classroom effectively?

Dina Taxes... Or Dina Titus. Either way she'll raise your taxes. It's ironic that Titus goes on about "clueless" politicians while running for governor - yet can't be prepare classes, lectures and stay organized in the classroom. Sort of a joke. TEACH us Titus - don't try and recruit us for your campaign.
