Dr. Jin was one of the best science professors at NU! A lot of people complained about him (unjustly, might I add). He was a challenging professor, and many just wanted to skate through. Those who were scolded were often not paying attention, and frequently asked about something he had literally JUST discussed.

He can be very hard to understand and is not that patient with his students. He might tell you that you didn't read the textbook if you have questions and he isn't feeling very patient. He frustrated me a lot. Although he can be nice, he has the tendency to make people very uncomfortable. Chem lab is about as fun as it gets.

Dr. Jin is a great professor. I learned a lot from his class. I don't understand why these other ratings say they can't understand him though. If you pay attention and ask questions, you're good to go. He's one of the best teachers I've had.

Sometimes he's hard to understand with the way he words things, but for the most part he is pretty patient. Chemistry can be a difficult subject. Pay close attention and Dr. Jin will be willing to answer your questions. Has a funny giggle.

Pay attention in this class, and you will get a lot out of it. Dr. Jin is a genius, although hard to understand at times. He is very willing to give extra credit, take it! Also, make sure to get the past tests for this class. They will help you a lot.

bring extra homework and sit in the back of class. he'll never know what you're doing because he's too busy writing on the board and consulting his notes. though sometime funny to watch, you will not understand a word he says. ZZZZZ!
