Dr. Dellicarpini likes to boast about information that he knows nothing about, and tries to impose his bias and his opinion on others where it is very obviously unwanted and unneeded. He is uninformed, unprofessional, and disrespectful, and inconsistent when giving students in a project-based learning environment the feedback they deserve.

Comment:

Pros: He is always willing to help! He answered my e-mails promptly, and he was always willing to help me with whatever I needed. He encourages open-mindedness. Cons: There is a lot of busy work in the class (weekly assignments that seem pointless). Mandatory peer reviews. Overall, great professor if you really want to learn.

WORSE CLASS EVER!! He was so unclear with what he wanted for the projects and proposals. It made me extremely stressed and depressed. The class took everything I had. It was so irritating that I could not figure out what he wanted. Wish I never took the class. Hard midterm and hare to answer his questions when having class discussion.

DelliCarpini is def the best professor I've ever had. His expectations are clear and as long as you follow them, you will do well. The class was also largely discussion so it wasn't a normal boring lecture. I would def re-take this class and highly recommend it to everyone!!!

Definitely the best professor I've ever had. I almost dropped the class after the first week, because we were asked to put on an actual play in a literature class. I was definitely glad I stayed in the class. The experience was priceless. Shakespeare was meant to be experienced through drama. I learned a lot and am still in touch with him.

Very thorough and hardworking, however you will work hard as well. Assigns multiple assignments per week and will have them read and returned within a few days. He is helpful, but expects the best from his students. Tough grader but very willing to work with you.

Dominic is without a doubt the most charismatic professor I've ever encountered. He is extremely knowledgeable and willing to help students in any way he can. While he does not grade easily, he is very clear about his expectations for assignments, and provided you put the right amount of time into your work, you will be rewarded for your effort.

Dellicarpini.. what can I say except "refreshing." As far as teachers go, he's the best. His love of teaching and desire to help his students is encouraging. Without him, I might have lost all faith in higher education. His classes aren't always easy, but they ARE worth it. If you haven't taken him already and care about your education, do it!

Dominic is an amazing person and professor. I always look forward to his classes. I've learned so much from this man and he is extremely helpful, both academically and personally. Plus, he is VERY easy on the eyes. Dominic is definitely the hottest prof at York College-hands down.

Excellent teacher... really nice and def. improved my writting technique and I still use the things he taught me in my classes now. If you can take him do it. Be prepared to really edit your work to perfection but ti's so worth it. I hate editing but I learned how useful it can be. Awesome teacher. Take him!

Funny and talanted- definitely never boring. Dellicarpini forgot more about Hamlet than most people will ever know. Plus, if you're ever bored, he serves as convenient eye-candy. If you have to take a lit class, he's the guy to take!

Take him!!! I took WRT200 by contract with him. Incredibly helpful, even when its inconvenient for him. He actually reads your papers and is interested in making you a better writer. Useful comments, especially on drafts. Emails you back promptly. Great guy.

he's really interesting and i look forward to going to his class. he is big on attendance, and he's a REALLY hard grader. he gives useful comments however and he gives a research paper that he sets rough draft deadlines for and stuff so that its impossible for you to put it off until the night before. cares about his students and is genuinely nice!
