The class is called precalculus. When I took this I was terrible at algebra and hated mathematics in general. Don taught the material really well and that helped me find a passion for mathematics I never knew I had. This class was a turning point in my life which built the very foundation my engineering career stands on. Thank you so much Don.

He needs to retire, he is such a grump! He gets disgusted in class if you ask too many questions. He doesn't believe in extra-credit. He is very intimidating. I do not recommend him at all!

Don is really sweet and fun and jokes about him being old and fat when he's not that fat or old. He's cute in his way. I loved him as a teacher. Just don't ask him how does this work apply or going to apply to my life. He gets pissed. The fact is the class is required & he is great at teaching it. Just appreciate him and work hard.

he will blow up and swear at the class once per semester at least but i would have to say he is the best math teacher i've ever had. plus it's kinda funny when he blows up, just don't let him see you smile.

ironically, he is less educated than other math teachers I have had, but is a much better teacher than many of the others in the department. I enoyed taking his class. He makes sure you know what is important and is really fair.

Not an easy teacher by any means, but easily the most accessible/helpful teacher I've ever had-encourages students to come to him prior to seeking out help anywhere else, and makes himself available 10 or 11 hours a day
