Dr Feesmeier is old school & notes are taken from his lectures. You WILL learn what he teaches you! He gave me extra confidence that I needed to apply for the RN program (and get in)! His class isn't the easiest, BUT an A is very possible if you just study some. Stay after class to study or put cadaver up and he will round your grade! Great guy!!!

Comment:

While he's difficult, he's an excellent teacher. He will make you earn your A, but also gives plenty of opportunity for extra credit, and designs his tests toward the end to make sure that you don't fail, if you're putting forth effort. I would take him for A&P II if he taught it- while he's tough I learned SO much. Definitely stay after class!

This was an extremely tough class. Not an easy A, you have to work at it. I came out of this class knowing the material! The test are tough but he normally gives you chances to correct them. I would take him for A&P 2 If he taught it! He lets the class out early. I recommend staying after class, It helps!

He is very hard! He will tell you that you cannot memorize the material you have to know it, then you are on your own. He does not care about your personal life. If you miss his class due to a sickness in the family, he will not let you forget about it! His sense of humor is the worst I have herd in a long time.

He is a VERY HARD teacher BUT the best Teacher I have EVER had in my life. He is willing to help you whenever you need it. Know your stuff for the test pretty much fill in the blank. You feel like you have learned a lot when you leave. If you want to learn take him if your just looking for an easy A then don't. Best teacher!

Dr. Freesmeier is awesome. His class is not an easy A, but if you put in effort you will be successful. He made himself available to all students and would explain anything you didn't understand, as long as you had made an attempt to figure it out prior. Expects you to try. Great sense of humor. You don't memorize, instead you learn. Excellent prof

He is a very intelligent man and actually TEACHES the material. If you really want to LEARN and not memorize the material, take his class! I have never worked so hard at a class before, but it was worth it. I would take this class with him all over again even after knowing how tough he is. Yes, KNOW the muscles of shoulder rotation!!!

Tough class, tough teacher, but he actually teaches the material and expects you to learn it, not memorize it. Put forth the effort and he will do what he can to help you. He is ALWAYS available to help you-just ask. I would highly recommend him and don't regret my decision one bit to take A/P I with him. I'm sad he doesn't teach A/P II!

Dr.F. is an intelligent man and the class is hard. BUT, if you put forth the effort and are serious about the course (and write fast taking notes!), you'll do fine. He actually TEACHES and doesn't read off a bunch of useless powerpoint slides. He's always available after class to answer questions and wants you to succeed.

I took Doc. for A&P I. Hardest class I've ever had, I studied my butt off and still only got a B. He's one of the smartest people I've ever met, but too smart to break it down to where you new the info. Test were not what he told you to study, and good luck trying to study everything he gives you in class!! Great person not so much as a teacher!

This is an excellent class if you are willing to study and want to know practical application of what you are learning. The class is not easy and there is a lot expected of you. Attendance isn't mandatory but you will NOT do well if you miss class. The class isn't impossible but it takes a lot of time. Know the muscles of Rotator Cuff!

I had Dr. F. for Anatomy 1 and I really enjoyed it. He's passionate about what he does and he's great at showing students how the material will apply to their future careers.It isn't an easy course, but if you take good notes and study, you'll be fine. (and memorize the muscles of the rotator cuff!)

If you are serious about entering the health care field, this is the teacher for you because you want to learn and there is not enough time in a year, let alone a semester to learn all this man has to teach you, but he makes sure you know not on the knowledge but the rationale. Highly Recommended

Dr. Freesmeier is probably THE best teacher I have ever had. He shows a strong drive for you to succeed and is soo very helpful. Of all the teacher's I have ever had, even through out high school, he is probably the best. Although his class is tough, I have done wonderful and he makes me want to come to class every week. I would highly reccommend!!

I loved this class! He does present a lot of hard material very quickly and if you try to write down every word, you will miss everything. Just write down the main points he talks about and then go through the book and clarify. Very personable and knowledgeable. I recommend this prof. if you like a fast paced fun class!!!

While he is unorganized, his class is really easy to pass. He's always giving out extra credit to help people out. He definitly knows his stuff, but has difficulty presenting it. We rarely did labs and when we did, they rarely followed the booklet, but it was easy points. Great guy and honestly wants to motivate you and help you pass.

Shouldnt be allowed to teach Biology. I hated this class. Yet, I found most loved it because it was so easy that a 4 year old could pass it. Also, as mentioned before, he doesnt care to keep track of grades. Another thing that angered me was we didn't do a single lab the whole semester. Someone not doing their job correctly?
