She was very nice but far too sensitive to things related to theater. She did not like when other people were not passionate about theater or bad mouthed it in anyway, even if it was in a very respectful manner. She was pretty easy up until her last exam, which I got railed by.

Dona is the best thing that has happened to the theater department and I would highly recommend taking a class with her. She is a gem of a human and is always willing to talk and help you with anything academic or personal. She is funny, caring, and unapologetically passionate. A real star, she lights up my world.

I've taken multiples classes with Dona and she is WONDERFUL. She's very encouraging and gives insightful, quick feedback on class assignments. She can be a hard grader and will push you but that's only because she knows that you can always do more. She's just an all around gem of a human.

Dona is great! I had her for 1st semester theater and shes my advisor. She is very organized and Th130 is a fantastic class where you become friends with the people you are with. Dona is very helpful and caring. She helped me and my scene partner for an hour once. Shes really a wonderful human. If you like theater take this class!

Dona is the best thing God has ever created. I enjoyed her class so much to the point where I almost considered changing my major to Theater. She is very nice and inspirational and I am so lucky to have taken her class. If you have chance , DO TAKE the class. Sometimes I cry when I think about the class because it was that good. W

Donna is one of the best people I've ever met!! I've never connected as well with a teacher before. She is always there if you need any help in class, and was extremely helpful when I did go to her. Donna also really, truly cares about the student beyond the academics. She is incredibly passionate about theater, I wish I could take her class again!

Dona rocks my face off. She has taught me so much in her acting classes and whilst being a part of the shows she directed. She's always been a great mentor and when necessary a great friend as well. She is a fantastic professor and an awesome person. You should take a class with her if you get a chance.

Dona knows her subject well and has mastered it. However, in Acting for the Lyric stage, she has extremely obvious favorites, is very unhelpful if you are not one of them, and, if you do not have the incredibly outgoing theatre person persona, she seems to dislike you, regardless of your effort. Her favoritism is also reflected in the grades.
