I agree with everyone else it is an easy A. I hardly put in any effort and I still got an A, However, Don is so random that I cant say i learned anything in his class. Its a real shame too considering this is a required class for sociology. it would be diff. if it were an elective

don is awesome. got a lot of flack this year for unacademic related things. uses shock value to get your attention, if you get distracted by that you can miss his point, but if you think in the big picture it's easy to get his concepts. don is a rare gem, eccentric but amazing. i'd take any class from him i could.

Extremely intelligent professor. Has a full plate because of his involvement with the court system, but very dedicated to everything he does. Sometimes disorganized in his rememberance of bringing things to class, but never in his mind.

He is extremely unclear (though not the worst I've had at USM) and the readings are some of the most difficult I've done so far. the assignments are *not hard* (the papers and quizzes, i mean) and i have found it surprisingly easy to not go to class, barely do the reading, and always get A's.

Not very organized, but he knows the subject matter. Be prepared to spend a fortune on books, he had three for this class and they all said the same thing - they quoted from each other!! He's great though - enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
