Pretty easy class, he makes it interesting. He asks picky questions on the tests but if you study you're fine. The lab is also really easy for this class.

Well I have to say that this was a pretty a hard class, but he is a great teacher!! I would def. recommend when compared with the other botany teachers. He is very funny, and although attendance it a must, if you study he is definatley do-able!

Great Professor. He's a little unorganized, but manages to make plants interesting. He's exams are detailed, but no harder than your average 200 level exam. He's straightforward and lets u know his policy up front. Attendance is mandatory for this class. Skippers, go somewhere else.

DO NOT take him if you can help it. Had him for 1 week (and 1 test) in the summer session and thats what lowered my grade tremendously! P.S. reminds me of will ferrel's harry kerry

This is NOT an easy class. He uses packets to teach instead of a textbook. He'll make promises about adjusting your grade if you do better, but goes back on his word whenever you call him on it. I DO NOT reccomend him at ALL. Padgett is harder, but fair.

nice guy but class is never-ending and boring. he tries to make it interesting with lots of metaphores and stories that somehow relate to the material but by the time he gets to the point, you dont know what you should have written down. tests arent too bad but hard to study for them. very goofy guy. "I did not know that!"

Very good class. I wasn't too excited about this class before taking it, but he's a pretty funny guy, though sometimes corny. DON'T buy the book - he gives you packets and tells you exactly what's on the test. No homework ever either. I iwould definitely recommend this class.
