His speech is slow so lectures seem to lag at times. Interesting/ok class. I took this as a freshman not hard. Not a lot of work, skim the reading, you have to participate cause he calls on you, lots of group work. Willing to clarify directions by email or office hours. Good man, got me through some tough times.

One of the worst professors I have ever encountered. Christian ethics is just an argument with this man. His opinions are very strong and he makes students feel like idiots. The tests you don't even have to study for because every question is based off of his opinion. Don't agree with him? You'll get the answer wrong. Very rude. Never take him.

He is really unorganized and has strong opinions. He never knew the names of anyone in the class and made corny excuses. He's really air-headed but means well. Many students take what he says personally and become offended by his questions - So if you're sensitive don't take him. Random quizzes, inconsistent grading, but if you pay attention easy A

Honestly one of the worst professors I've ever encountered. Do not even attempt to have an opinion other than the one he wants you to have. Christian Ethics is basically a catholic conversion class with this man.

The class is easy, but he is extremely difficult to listen to, and very rude. During the literally two times he asked us to take out our textbooks for class use, he spent the first twenty minutes lecturing students on the responsibility of bringing the book to every class. Treats students like morons. Avoid at all costs!

Comment:

One of the best professors at Le Moyne. He loves teaching and it shows. The class is mostly participation and he likes to hear what his students have to say. The tests are straightforward and very easy. He assigns very little homework and as long as you do the readings you will be prepared for class discussions and tests.

His tests are inconsistant with the material he teaches. Point allocation on tests often dont match between questions and study guide. He is the cure to Insomnia. He is hard to follow. He goes off on mindless tangents. He expects you to find new meaning in over thought topics. His hand writeing cant be read. Seems nice outside of class. but not In.

He is condesending & openly underminds the intelegence of his students.He treats them like their in elementary school.First 20min of class always consist of him reading the newspaper aloud and His lectures consist almost entirly of him reading the textbook to the class word for word.His hand writing is illegibal.avoid!

Fr Kirby is difficult to follow, goes off on tangents and disagreeable. If you dont agree with what he is teaching forget it. Easy A if you agree with him and keep your opinions to yourself. If you actually want to learn and enjoy class do not take him.

Interesting class and he assigns SO LITTLE work! In the first 2 weeks of class we read 18 pages in the book. However, he's very unclear/vague with his discussion questions during classtime. He's a laid back kind of guy and tends to repeat himself alot and go off on tangents. He's a nice guy but this class is strange.
