OK. I know that his class was relatively easier than other classes. However, I do not think that this professor taught well. Sometimes, I did not understand why he was talking about other things not related to the lectures. The exams were not that hard. Study with guide and text. You will be fine !

What is CSUN's administration doing? They r allowing Prof. Rogoff to waste students time & money. If there r no students, there r no professors, & there is no school.Smth has to be done. It was interesting taking this guy. I remember when I took him that he gave us a quiz during class and he stated explicitely, the class before you all failed this quiz. While taking it, he looks at it and says, "Oh, this is next chapter's quiz! No wonder they failed!" Yeah not organized at all. He's a nice guy though.

I dont know how this guy is still teaching! One of the worst professors Ive taken. This guys is just off! Goes off topic and talks about his personal life all the time. Forgets things. Very unorganized. Doesnt even know what he is doing most of the times. He just reads off his power point slides and doesnt help or care to explain the material much.

By far, the worst professor I have taken at CSUN. You start off the year doing homework and turning it in. Midway through, we just stopped. Has very bad memory and is very unorganized. Takes roll almost everyday. He doesn't teach. He reads off powerpoint slides and thats it. We briefly were set up in groups but that lasted like two weeks. Overall,

Class was really boring. He's like my grandpa! He takes roll. His tests are really long for accounting considering they are all Math problems. usually aroud 25?s. He collected homework at the beginning then gave up. We would have to do group homework but you really do not need to be in a group to do it. Nevertheless all ACCT teachers suck!

Probably the WORST teacher that I have ever had. I dont think that I learned one thing this whole semester! Most of the class is soo clueless as to whats going on because he never explains anything. Basically you have to teach yourself everything. He doesnt prepare you for tests..never goes over the homework..so you never know if ur doin it right!

Nice guy, but old and tired. He is VERY unmotivating. He'll be lecturing and you'll get it, then say "you don't need to know that on the test". He's just joking of course, but totally deflates your confidence. His lectures are actually pretty good when he shies away from the PP, but people give up because he doesn't inspire them to do well.

Horrible Prof . . . This is a self-teach class. You pay to go here and you end up having to teach yourself, Ridiculous! Don't ask q's in class, he wont answer them or if he tries no one will understand what he means. He has a curve on his tests only because everyone does so bad. On first test only 4 people got either an A or B with the curve. Joke

Dr. Rogoff is not very organized but overall an awesome professor. If you're not into accounting (uh hm... me!) then this is the perfect teacher to take! I took him a year ago and ended up seeing him on campus this semester..somehow he still remembered my full name! Sweet man! :) BTW.. he only teaches in the fall!

Well, if you do the homework... accounting is not hard. You will be confused about this teacher. But don't let the other reviews scare you... If you attend EVERYDAY, you will pass with a C providing you get crappy grades on the tests. He GRADES ON A CURVE. This teacher is confusing, and very vague on what he wants you to study.
